Is heart rate reliable for indoor training?
Reasonably, though optical wrist sensors can struggle during high-cadence efforts and on a fixed-position handlebar grip. If your indoor zone data looks erratic, a chest strap paired to your watch will produce a cleaner series, which improves the zone distribution.
How does it handle multi-day tours?
Consecutive hard days will drive recovery down and strain up, which is expected and correct. The travel detection will separately account for any time-zone change.
